Ezequiel Rosenfeldt was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1977. He began as a self-taught artist before training in the studios of Jorge Dermirjián and Marcelo Martínez Casás. In 1999, he studied Fine Arts at the Prilidiano Pueyrredón School. In 2004, he completed drawing courses at Escola Massana in Barcelona. He studied Art Therapy in Buenos Aires in 2005 and later pursued Astrology at Casa XI. In 2013, he was awarded a residency scholarship at the Vermont Studio Center in the United States. He is currently studying at the Anthroposophic Art Therapy Association.
I create art from an inner need to explore, understand, and reveal. I paint and draw not just to make images, but to approach a subtler dimension of reality—an invisible order that appears when one learns to see differently. My practice is a continuous attempt to understand the human soul—my own and others’—transcending appearances to grasp what vibrates beyond the visible.
For me, art is not a destination but a process of transformation. I paint to learn, to grow, to find balance in a state of constant change. I aim to observe and let the process teach me—to correct me, to reveal things to me, to make me more honest. I work to overcome my own defense systems and, from that place of truth, to resonate with others and support them on their own journeys.
Each piece is a symbolic search that tries to correct imbalances, unveil hidden information, and open questions rather than offer answers. I’m not trying to arrive anywhere, but to be present in the process and discover purpose through painting. My instinct guides me. My mind learns to let go. My energy finds new ways to flow. I believe art can offer healing, open inner doors, awaken dormant parts, and perhaps serve as a mirror for the viewer.
My wish is that my work is not only seen, but felt—that it resonates with those who encounter it, as a small signal that change is possible, and that the soul, even in its contradictions, can find its shape.
